This is another one of my FAVORITE RPG’s!!! Xenosaga is the bomb….
The twelve half-hour episodes cover the length of Xenosaga: Episode I’s plot, remaining faithful to the game’s content at key moments while significantly changing or removing other portions of the game’s narrative. Of note, there exists an entire subplot in the game revolving around a character named Cherenkov, who travels with the main characters until his death on a large gnosis referred to as a Cathedral Ship. In the anime, Cherenkov is killed on the Woglinde towards the very beginning of the story. Conversely, Lt. Virgil, a character that died early on in the game, takes his place. Virgil, in turn, is killed by KOS-MOS in episode nine in a scene that closely mimics the manner in which he was killed in the game.
The series also features an appearance by Jin Uzuki, Shion’s brother and a major character in Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse. Though Jin is not seen in person at all during the events of Episode I, his appearance and role in the anime is very accurate to the way he is portrayed in Episode II.
Another major difference is the role of the Kirschwassers. While in Episode I they serve in a minor role working for Albedo, the anime focuses on only one. This Kirschwasser was impersonating a 100-series while on the Woglinde in order to escape Albedo, and befriended Shion while on board. When the Woglinde is attacked and nearly destroyed, she is recaptured. Kirschwasser also displays a grudge against MOMO, as the birth of the 100-series prototype resulted in the obsolescence of Kirschwasser and the rest of the 99-series Realians, resulting in her being emotionally abandoned. At the end of the anime Kirschwasser regains her trust in Shion, and after Albedo’s defeat, she stays behind on the Proto Merkabah, where she is killed after initiating the self-destruct mechanism. In the game, this action was performed by KOS-MOS, who escapes unharmed.

This year in LA, I learned alot of valuable things. Each lesson helping me prepare for my high school years. But as you can see, I can not just choose one. It was in LA this year that I found the best book series, the love for the Internet, and some of the greatest friends. And with this year fading by so quickly, I’m realizing this class is one I wish not leave. With some of my friends in this class who are moving on to different high schools, sometimes I wish I could spent eternity in here. This class is certainly a class I will not forget.
Today was WaCkY DaY!!! Today almost every one dressed wacky. My favorite two were Jenny and Nikki. They dressed disco like! WACKY DAY RULEZ!!!
Last night was the band/chorus concert. And our last at that. We started with the sixth grade band who put on an astounding performance. Then came the clarinet trio, which consisted of Sierra West, Elise Matalavage and me, Colleen Beck. We did better than we expected
. Then came the chorus, who did an excellent job on their three songs. There were four groups as well who did a song each. The first group sung “Dear Maria”, and they consisted of Jenny West, who played the guitar, Tracey Nyguen, Lianne Hosmer, and Nikki Stirrup. The second group consisted of 7th graders(Who names I donot know), sung “If everyone cared”. The third group sung “Seasons of Love”. They consisted of Alex Lewis(GO ALEX!!!), Kassy Sizemore, and Denise Pizzola. They did a great job might I add. Then the final group who consisted of Elise Matalavage and Hayden Edgerton. They also did a great job as well. Then came the 8th and 7th grade band who played a variety of songs. The whole concert went very well, and we are happy we ended our last concert off on a good note.
On Monday, may 26th, my friend Taylor and I went to the Lewis Beach!!! We went mostly to tan (shin guard tan) but also to swim in the freezing water! We were the ONLY people to actually swim all the way out. Other people just came two feet and stopped. The funniest part was the ladybug invasion. Every time we went out to tan under the sun, they would attack us everywhere! Taylor had a lack of respect for the tanners as we played Frisbee. Let’s just say she’s not the best Frisbee thrower.
It was a really fun day, and though we didn’t get rid of our shin guard tans, we did get really bad sun burn on our backs. (Let’s not forget the white lines caused by our bathing suits!) And now we pray to the lord that the lines will go away before the Semi!!! …(let’s just say…white lines don’t go good with halter dresses)
